- All Students will be evaluated prior to the start of the session. These evaluations will occur during the first two weeks prior to the actual start date of the lessons. We will evaluate your child's current ability level and place them in the appropriate level. Please make sure you are signing up your child for an evaluation when you register.
- Lessons will be held on Saturday mornings from 10am-12pm. Classes will be filled as the evaluation period ends. We will run multiple lessons at the same time, if you have more than one child registered for a lesson we will make every attempt to place them in classes that run simultaneously.
- Parents may not stay on the pool deck during lessons, NO EXCEPTIONS! We will have a visitation day on the final day of lessons.
- No refunds or make up lessons will be granted once the session starts.
- Registration does not guarantee a spot in class. If we do not meet the minimum # of students in a class, or exceed the maximum # of students, we may close the session. We will make every attempt to open an additional class if we have the space and an instructor. Refunds will be given in the event that a class is closed and not re-scheduled.
- These classes are based on the American Red Cross Learn to Swim program, and each child will learn and have to successfully complete the skills in each level in order to advance. It is not uncommon for a child to repeat the same level multiple times to master the skills. We cannot allow a child to progress to the next skill level if they cannot show proficiency in all skills in the current level.
