Mary-Ruth has been active throughout her life, a loving mother, devoted teacher and a dancer. Following her busy lifestyle, she started with yoga and continued dance, and eventually her daughter and son-in-law referred her to join the Aqua classes at Brick Bodies Padonia. After one class, Mary-Ruth knew she had found her place and continued to come back, originally attending 3 classes a week.

Now at 97- Mary-Ruth attends 2 Aqua Arthritis classes each week, and she has quite the community behind her! She refers to her aqua friends as some of the nicest and most supportive people she has ever met.

I enjoy the exercise; I really enjoy what we do. I feel like I’ve accomplished something that day and I get to be social with a great group of friends. I have been very fortunate, and I have met some wonderful people here. You can guarantee to meet great people at Brick Bodies. I wish I had started sooner, but I didn’t want to get my hair wet!”-Mary-Ruth Elseroad

WHY CHOOSE BRICK BODIES GYM IN TIMONIUM?

Her daughter and son-in-law, current members, referred her to Brick Bodies originally to help her maintain her mobility and they knew the therapy pool was good for re-introducing strength and stability.

“The community and friendships I have made keep me busy all day long, from class, to brunch, to get togethers. These girls come out and talk after class, and socialize and it really helps, I enjoy people, this has been the best.”- Mary-Ruth Elseroad

Not only does exercise improve strength, balance and stability, but at Brick Bodies it offers a community, lasting friendships and support. You’re never too old to try something new, Brick Bodies is a place for beginners or strength trainers in all walks of life.
