Vegetables

Today’s Fit Tip is being brought to from Brisbane, Australia where Lynne and I are here with our good friend Jamie HayesJamie Hayes is a very impressing person being the 1st Fitness Leader in Australia.  He is also currently the owner of Healthy Inspirations and Body Express here in Australia.

A very important tip to keeping fit and healthy and of course watching your waistline is to add more fresh vegetables to your daily diet.  Jamie explained to us that he learned a lot about fresh unprocessed vegetables from the Tom Hanks movie, “Cast Away”.  It shows you in the movie how being stuck on a deserted island with nothing but plenty of fish, coconuts, and vegetables, you really can survive and almost definitely become slimmer and healthier from the foods that would be available to you.

Here in the United States you can even have fresh vegetables delivered right to your front t door.  It is actually easier then most people think through co-ops and local farmers.

So, remember the tip for today is to do what your grandmother always said and eat your vegetables first.  They fill you up and keep you healthy.
