    GBMC Father's Day 5k

Join us on June 21 for the 27th annual GBMC Father’s Day 5K and 1-mile Fun Walk. At GBMC this year, everyone is talking about the number 50. But for the annual Father’s Day 5K, we want to talk about another number – 200,000.

Two-hundred thousand people have been born at GBMC since 1965, the year of our founding. Each year, 10 percent of babies born spend time in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. That means, since 1965, about 20,000 babies have been treated by the doctors and nurses that work in our NICU. Twenty-thousand. The NICU has seen 20,000 babies sleep in its incubators, use its Human Milk Bank, warm in its Giraffe beds and snuggle into its blankets. With your help, we can care for even more.

NEW THIS YEAR! In honor of our 50th anniversary, we will be hosting a community health fair for race participants and the community to come out and learn more about health and wellness from GBMC physicians and staff as well as outside vendors.
