    Baltimore's Go Red For Women Luncheon

    The Go Red For Women Luncheon, is the cornerstone event for this year-round campaign. Themed around sisterhood and inspiration, it is a life-changing experience that focuses on three areas to support the fight against heart disease in women: heightening awareness of the issue, creating a passionate call-to-action and generating funds to support education and research.

    Baltimore Women's Classic 5k

    When: Sunday, June 24th, 8:00am
    Where: Rash Field, Baltimore

    The Baltimore Women’s Classic 5K is the second oldest women’s only race in the country and the largest in the mid-Atlantic. Come celebrate our 37th running and the 40th anniversary of Title IX on Sunday, June 24th at Rash Field in the beautiful Inner Harbor. Net proceeds provide direct support service for gynecologic cancer patients and their families across the state of Maryland. Women helping women – the cornerstone of the BWC! Come out and enjoy a great day for a great cause!

    Rock the Ridge

    When: October 5-7
    Where: Oregon Ridge Park

    IHRSA Joining Forces Network

    The Joining Forces network campaign’s goal is to help military families that serve our country by giving a free 6 month membership to the spouses and teenage children of deployed Reservists and National Guard members. By Brick Bodies/Lynne Brick’s joining the IHRSA Joining Forces Network, we will help aid military families by eliminating the barriers to a healthy lifestyle. If you have a spouse that is deployed you and your teenage children* are eligible for this special membership.
    IHRSA Joining Forces Network FAQ

    1. Who is eligible to receive a free membership?
    Spouses and teenage children of actively deployed reservists and National Guard members. Membership is limited to persons who are at least 15 years of age. Persons 12-14 years of age may join with medical clearance and must be accompanied by an adult when using the facilities.
    2. Do I need to show proof of deployment to determine eligibility?
    Yes documentation is required.
    3. What type of membership will be offered?
    A 6-month multi-club membership will be offered.
    4. Is there a limited number of free memberships that will be offered?
    No so long as you are a spouse or a teen age child of a deployed reservists and national guard member you are eligible and will receive the 6 month free membership.
    5. Will an enrollment fee be charged?
    The enrollment fee as well as all other up front fees will be waived.
    6. Will we be charged for additional services, such as towels, lockers, etc.?
    Yes, you will be charged for any additional services that do not come with a standard multi-club membership i.e. personal training, paid programming, childcare, etc.
    7. If I am a paying club member who is eligible for a free membership under this program will my billing be frozen?
    No, Spouses and teen age children of deployed Reservists and National Guard need to fulfill their current contractual obligations before receiving the free 6 month membership.
