What is the Next Step Program?

Take your wellness goal to the next level with our Next Step strength training program. Next Step is a 5-week program with a certified personal trainer designed to motivate, educate and provide the accountability you need to build healthy fitness habits through dumbbell-based strength training. 

Next Step is intended for Brick Bodies members who have completed the First Step program to help you continue to gain confidence in the gym while establishing consistency and accountability in your routine and improving your movement skills with free weights.

  • Next Step Initial Assessment: complete a movement assessment, wellness evaluation and InBody body composition analysis
  • In-person 30-minute training program with dumbbells, 2x per week for 5 weeks (includes initial and final assessment)
  • One 60-minute virtual Nutrition Seminar to help you incorporate healthy habits into your routine

How much does it cost?

The Next Step program cost is $75.00 

Where is this program available?

At this time, this program is available only at our Brick Bodies Padonia location.  

What is included?

  • A certified personal trainer in your corner 
  • Next Step Intake Session with one of our Next Step Coaches to discuss your health and fitness goals, complete an InBody assessment and Wellness Evaluation, and establish baseline measurements from which to track progress throughout the program 
  • Two 30-minute small group free-weight, dumbbell workout sessions per week for five weeks lead by one of our Next Step Coaches 
  • One 60-minute Zoom-based Nutrition Seminar to help you incorporate healthy nutrition habits into your routine 

What is the InBody Body Composition Scanner?

What results can I expect from the program?

The goals of the program include positive changes to the following:  

  • Body composition (weight loss and/or muscle gain)  
  • Energy levels  
  • Stress management  
  • Functional Strength 
  • Improved balance and stability  
  • The skills needed to improve confidence using dumbbells and cardio equipment  
  • Motivation and education to further your wellness journey  

How many people are in the workout sessions?

There is a maximum of 4 participants per half hour workout session.  

Is weekly participation in the workout sessions required?

Yes, participation in the workout sessions is required to complete the program. This program exists to set you up for success through consistency and accountability- attending your workout sessions are an important part of getting into a good routine.  

Where do I go for my sessions?

For your first session you will meet your Next Step coach in the lobby of the club. A future meeting spot will be agreed upon in the first session with your coach. 

What happens if I can’t make it to a session?

We do understand that life happens, and sessions can be made up if there is space available in  another session. To reschedule your session, you must communicate directly with your Next  Step Coach. Sessions must be completed with your program’s 6-week time frame

Who is the Next Step program good for?

Next Step is a program that is intended for members who have completed the First Step program to help you continue to gain confidence in the gym while establishing consistency and accountability in your routine and improving your movement skills with free weightsMembers who are looking to gain balance, stability and learn proper form for basic movement pattern skills are encouraged to do this program! 

How many times can I do NextStep?

The Next Step program is intended to be just that, your next step! Once the program is complete you will discuss your options for moving on in your journey beyond Next Step, including utilizing the services in our clubs like group exercise, team training, small group training or personal training options.
