AQUATICS RULES

AQUATICS CENTER RULES AND REGULATIONS

  1. For the health and safety of our swimmers, we ask everyone to shower off before and after entering any pool.
  2. Appropriate swim attire is required. No non-swimming attire will be permitted in the pool. Cotton clothes are prohibited in the pools and steam room, athletic or water-specific materials are required. Please only wear pool specific shoes into our pools. Street shoes are not permitted.
  3. Members must be dressed appropriately to enter the Aquatics Center, this includes the steam room. It is not permissible to enter the Aquatics center in only undergarments or a towel. Undergarments are not permitted in the pool.
  4. Lane sharing is required when all lanes are in use.
  5. Children under the age of 12 years are only allowed in the pool for scheduled swim lessons and designated family swim times. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Non-swimmers are recommended to use a Coast Guard approved life vest.
  6. Children must be 12 years of age or older to use lap lanes. They must take a swim test to use the lap lanes and must always be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
  7. Pool floats, beach balls, and water guns are not allowed in the pool area.
  8. Guests with open wounds, respiratory illness and other conditions that are infectious or communicable are prohibited in the pool and spa.
  9. Guests who are under the age of 18 may not use the pool unless accompanied by a parent/legal guardian and are able to pass a swim test. 
  10. During class and swim lesson times, lanes in the main pool will be reserved for class/lesson participants and the lane lines may be removed.
  11. You must be 18 years of age or older to use the hot tub or steam room.
  12. Electronic devices are discouraged in the pool area for safety reasons. Brick Bodies is not responsible for damaged personal items.
  13. Management and lifeguards have full discretion to ensure the safety of the aquatics center.
