Please familiarize yourself with this FAQ guide, and refer to it for help answering member questions. It is understandable some members will be angry or sad about their club closing, so please be extra patient and understanding. If you are unable to answer a question, and there is no manager available, please get the member’s phone number and/or email address and assure them a manager will get back to them as soon as possible. Pass the contact info and the question on to the manager.

Why are you closing the Brick Bodies Downtown and Lynne Brick’s Owings Mills locations?

As we are faced with expiring leases for BB Downtown and LB Owings Mills, we have concluded there is no long-term solution that allows us to serve our members up to the standards of the brand. The available spaces are simply not large enough and require substantial building improvements to offer the experience and amenities we want for a Brick Bodies/Lynne Brick’s club. We are committed to making bold moves in the evolution of the Brick Bodies brand, as witnessed by the recent opening of the Brick Bodies Rotunda and the extensive renovations and upgrades we are implementing in Brick Bodies Reisterstown, Brick Bodies Padonia, and Lynne Bricks Belvedere Square.

Will you open a new Brick Bodies/Lynne Brick’s site Downtown or in Owings Mills?

We are always looking for prime sites, so we wouldn’t rule out anything. However, we cannot say for certain because it is too hard to predict where the best available sites will be located.

What is happening with the staff?

We will make every effort to offer our loyal, dedicated staff suitable positions in our organization. Please be considerate of our staff during this difficult transition.

How do I transfer my membership to another location?

You can complete transfer paperwork at your current club, or at the club where you plan to transfer your membership. You can also call your club (BBD: 410-547-0053, OMW: 410-363-4600), or email your General Manager directly (BBD: Jacob.lupo@brickbodies.com, OMW: Tracie.beauchamp@brickbodies.com).

What is happening with my favorite class? Will the instructors be teaching at other Brick Bodies/Lynne Brick’s locations?

We hope to get all our great instructors on the schedule at our other clubs (many of them already teach at other clubs!). We are in the process of merging schedules. Please keep in mind that studio availability and instructor availability factor into this process. This will take a little time, but we are working diligently to do the best we can to accommodate the variety of requests. Please keep your eyes open for updated schedules, and look for your favorite instructors at their new homes.

How do I upgrade to a Signature Membership?

Yes, you will have full access to any of the other Brick Bodies (co-ed) locations and Lynne Brick’s Belvedere Square (women only) until 7/31/18. Simply show your membership key tag when you check in. You can even bring a guest with you for free when you visit the other clubs.

Can I cancel if I am still within the term of my agreement?

Yes, you will be able to cancel without any issues.

How do I cancel and is there a deadline to submit my cancellation request?

You must cancel your membership by July 26th if you do not want to continue using other Brick Bodies/Lynne Brick’s clubs. The final billing date is July 27th. You can log on to https://www.brickbodies.com/membership-cancellation-request/.

What happens to my remaining Personal Training sessions?

You should have plenty of time to use your remaining sessions. Please get the sessions scheduled with your trainer as soon as possible

When will a new schedule be published?

We hope to have a proposed schedule for our Reisterstown location by the end of July. We hope to have a proposed schedule for Rotunda soon after. Thanks for your patience during the process.

I am a BB Downtown member, and I rent a locker. When do I need to have my items removed?

Please plan to have all your belongings removed from the lockers before the closing date of Friday 8/10 at 5 pm. Anything left behind will be discarded.

How will I learn how to use the equipment at other Brick Bodies/Lynne Brick’s locations when I try the club or transfer my membership?

We are offering free equipment orientations for all BB Downtown and LB Owings Mills members who wish to try our other clubs or transfer. You can schedule your orientation with the service desk at the club of your choice.
