A lot see a lot of people tend to go into the weight room doing curls in the anatomical position. While you see it on the anatomy chart, it’s not really natural. When people do curls, it puts a lot of stress on the inside of their elbow which is the medial epicondyle. While this isn’t bad on occasion, if you do this consistently, or you do it with heavy weight, you can cause inflammation and discomfort.With regards to your bicep, you can pull it up and notice that it actually turns the forearm out, so the palm is facing in. So, come up two-thirds of the way up you start to turn it. When it gets to the top, it locks out to the palms facing your body. This gives you a nice tight curl, nice tight flex and helps to build a nice head to the bicep. You could do three sets of this, ten repetitions, rest 30 seconds to a minute. Then eight repetitions and then six repetitions, three sets increasing weight each time.
