World Ovarian Cancer Day Community Classes

In recognition of World Ovarian Cancer Day on Friday, May 8th Brick Bodies will be hosting complimentary community classes at each of our locations. These classes are open to both members and guests, offered free of charge, with donations encouraged in her honor to support ovarian cancer research.
Padonia | Qigong with Sarah Karp | 12:15pm | A calming, restorative practice rooted in ancient Chinese tradition. Through slow, intentional movement, breath, and awareness, it helps cultivate energy, reduce stress, and support overall well-being. Often compared to “energy yoga,” qigong includes many different styles, including tai chi. We’ll experience a blend of approaches throughout class. Sign Up!
Reisterstown | Yoga Breathwork Meditation with Jack Dourakos | 10:30am | Expand your practice through about 40-45 minutes of asanas, then increase your mental wellness with 10-15 minutes of focused breathwork and meditation practice at the end of the yoga practice. Sign Up!
Rotunda | BODYBALANCE with Kathryn Downes | 9:30am | BODYBALANCE blends yoga, tai chi, Pilates and stretching to reduce stress, increase flexibility, improve strength and increase mind-body awareness. Sign Up!

First 3 Fridays of the month | 5:30pm | Free to Members and Guests!
Join us the first 3 Fridays of the month to unwind from the week, welcome the weekend, and try a different type of movement than you might normally do! Bring a friend and make a fun time of it!
Padonia | Friday, April 3rd | Boxing Basics and Beyond with Megan Carpenter | Shake off the stress of the week and head into the weekend feeling refreshed and ready to reset. Beginners are welcome. Bring a friend or come on your own to battle the bags.
Reisterstown | Friday, April 10th | Mat Pilates/Yoga Fusion with Lynette Stupi | Join Lynette and focus on flexibility, alignment, core strength, coordination and balance through small movements in smaller muscles. Complement the practice with asanas and breathwork. It’s a little bit workout, a little bit social, a whole lot of fun and a great way to head into the weekend!
Rotunda | Friday, April 17th | Somatic Yoga with Eva Khoury | Somatic yoga is a practice of mindful, internal movement that focuses on how poses feel rather than how they look, emphasizing deep body awareness to release tension, improve mobility, and connect mind and body.

Community Wellness Walk with Sarah Karp
Saturdays April 25th & May 30th | 9am at the NCR Trail | Free to Members and Guests
An intentional walk with a focus on your mental awareness as opposed to fitness goals. On this one-hour walk, every step you take will focus on your breath and feeling the sensations of nature around you. We’ll walk rain or shine.
What to Expect:
- Power Walking intervals paired with Mindful Walking intervals
- Duration: 1 hour (estimated two miles)
- This section of the NCR Trail is flat, crushed limestone
Trail Entrance:
- Mile 0.5 Paper Mill
- Take York Road (Route 45) to Cockeysville (Exit 18 off I-83). Turn right(east) on Ashland Road. Bear left onto Paper Mill Road. Go less than a half-mile, crossing the trail to the parking lot on the left. There are spot-o-pots located a half-mile north, just beyond mile marker 1.

Lifting for Longevity

Lifting for Longevity is a small group training experience designed for graduates of Actively Aging or individuals ready for a greater challenge. This class levels up rehab principles with progressive strength and smarter intensity. Expect advanced strength, dynamic balance, and functional conditioning that build bone density, muscle, coordination, and real world resilience.

Join Alexandria for a full body exercise experience! In a 45-minute session, you’ll engage in four rounds focusing on the four core fitness elements: strength, endurance, power, and cardio. Regardless of your fitness level, everyone is welcome to participate in this exciting fitness experience!

Tuesdays & Wednesdays at 5:30pm | Fridays at 8am | $35
Join us in the boxing studio for a NEW small group training class that targets your core and improves your conditioning!
This HIIT workout combines the fundamentals of mixed martial arts, incorporating light kettle bells, battle ropes and the bag for a tough and rewarding workout.
This class is designed for moderate to advanced fitness levels, but all are welcome.
